About Sweeps Counter

What this site is. Sweeps Counter covers sweepstakes and social casinos in the United States. There is one ranking, it holds seven sites, and every one of them was registered at personally on the no-purchase route. There are no star ratings and no scores anywhere on this site, because a promotional game does not reduce usefully to a number out of ten.

Who does the checking. Odalys Quintana, a promotions and prize-redemption reviewer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She spent eleven years administering consumer prize promotions before writing about this category, which is why every page here starts from the official rules rather than the welcome offer.

What gets checked. The name of the redeemable currency, the free entry route, the minimum redemption balance, whether a purchase is required before a first redemption is approved, and which states the operator excludes. Those five things differ at every site and almost no list puts them side by side.

We do not quote purchase bundles as welcome offers. Several operators run large first-purchase packages. Those are named as purchases wherever they appear here. The figure in the ranking is always the free allocation, because that is what the phrase *no purchase necessary* is actually about.

How it is funded. Sweeps Counter earns a commission when a reader registers through a link here. That pays for the accounts. The lineup order is commercial and the page says so on its face; what is written about each site is not for sale, and where an operator we earn from carries a condition worth knowing, it is stated.

Corrections. Write to editor@sweepscounter.com. Coin figures and state lists in this category move constantly, so corrections are welcome and are dated when made.
